Here are the ways in which we’re taking sustainable steps for the planet and the future in 2022.

Natural materials

Ely mattresses are made from natural materials and we pledge that it will always be this way. Because our materials are not man made, there’s a lot less process involved in making them, which is handy, because process causes environmental damage.

Natural materials tend to have a lower carbon footprint and contribute fewer emissions to the environment. If all companies did this, we’d see a drastic reduction in the pollution we’re chugging into the atmosphere.

Biodegradable

Every mattress you’ve ever slept on is likely sitting in a landfill right now rotting away. That’s because most mattresses take years to decompose. The unnatural materials within them hang around for many years and, though the planet seems huge, it actually isn’t that big when you consider just how many of us are here and how much waste we throw away every year.
